MENTOR ME
Our Mission
To follow God's will to have more harvesters sent out into the mission fields. We do this by hiring and supporting Mentors who are sold out to the cause of Jesus Christ and have a passion to see lives changed for the glory of God, to be a friend and advocate for a Student in need.
At MentorMe of West MI., we strongly believe that when students have a consistent, positive adult presence in their lives, not only will our society improve drastically, but also, more importantly, souls will be won for the Kingdom of God. Students from broken homes often experience increased challenges in mental & emotional health, academic performance, and social development. As a Christian man or woman, a Mentor will have a powerful impact on a student's life and may just be one of the few people who share and walks out the gospel with and for the student. This is our highest and greatest calling.
How our mentors work with you:
Regularly Scheduled
1:1 Time
MentorMe’s Mentors work one-on-one for 2-4 hours per week with each student under their care. Each Mentor is vetted, trained, and matched with each Student based on similar interests and geographic locations.
Group Coaching
MentorMe’s Guide program is an important part of the ministry. Our Guides meet weekly with each Mentor under their supervision for support and encouragement. In addition, they meet monthly with the family of each Student to ensure the integrity of the ministry.
As Needed, When Needed
Many programs have very specific time requirements and limits. Not at MentorMe. Our Mentors and Students work together to determine the time frames that work best for all involved.
